The Social and Academic Awareness Society of Muş Alparslan University opened a booth titled "Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Campaign" at Muş State Hospital to emphasize the importance of organ and tissue donation.
As part of the society's regularly organized awareness activities, this week's event focused on raising awareness about organ and tissue donations. The event was coordinated by Dr. Özgür Yeşilyurt, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Muş Alparslan University and Academic Advisor to the Social and Academic Awareness Society.
The activity, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences at Muş Alparslan University and the Organ and Tissue Donation Coordination Unit of Muş State Hospital, included Nursing and Social Work students who informed hospital visitors about the significance of organ and tissue donation.
The program was attended by Dr. Kenan Akpolat, Chief Physician of Muş State Hospital, hospital management, Specialist Nurse Ebru Karaağaç Özçelik, the Organ and Tissue Donation Coordinator at Muş State Hospital, and Sevda Güngör, a Specialist from the Health Services Department of the Muş Provincial Health Directorate.
