School of Health, in accordance with the decision taken at the I. National Health Congress, in line with the decisions of the Health Council, numbered 174, 184 and 185, within the scope of the "Restructuring of Health Education Project", in order to increase the efficiency of health services, dated 10/10/1996 and 96/8655. It was established under the Yüzüncü Yıl University with the decision of the Council of Ministers No. In the 1997-1998 academic year, the Department of Nursing started its undergraduate education activities and gave its first graduates at the end of the 2000-2001 academic year. With the establishment of Muş Alparslan University in 2007, it was included within the body of Muş Alparslan University.In addition to the existing Nursing department; Health Management, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, Midwifery Department, Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Audiology Department, Language and Speech Therapy Department, Social Work Department, Occupational Health and Safety Department and Gerontology Department were opened as a result of the establishment of the beginning, and the number has reached 10.
The School of Health became the Faculty of Health Sciences in line with the decision numbered 1613 of the Presidency published in the Official Gazette dated October 4, 2019, and numbered 30908. Our faculty continues its educational activities in five departments, namely Gerontology, Nursing, Occupational Health and Safety, Health Management and Social Work Departments.
