Dear Students, Esteemed Academic and Administrative Staff, and Valued Stakeholders,

At the Faculty of Health Sciences of Muş Alparslan University, our primary aim is to educate competent healthcare professionals who are guided by scientific knowledge and ethical values, capable of critical thinking, aware of their responsibilities, and committed to a human-centred approach.

Our educational philosophy places students at its core. We seek not only to equip our students with professional knowledge and skills, but also to support their development as individuals who inquire, question, produce knowledge, follow scientific advances, communicate effectively, and embrace lifelong learning. We are committed to continuously improving our educational processes in line with student feedback, current scientific developments, and the evolving requirements of the health professions.

Strengthening the research and academic productivity of our Faculty is also among our principal priorities. By encouraging high-quality scientific publications, national and international research projects, interdisciplinary studies, and institutional academic collaborations, we aim to enhance the scientific visibility and impact of our Faculty.

We regard quality assurance and accreditation as fundamental components of institutional development. Continuously improving our academic programmes in accordance with national and international standards, embedding a culture of quality across all units, and supporting the accreditation processes of our departments are among our key objectives. In these processes, we value the active contribution of our students, graduates, academic and administrative staff, as well as the knowledge, experience, and perspectives of healthcare institutions, public bodies, professional organisations, and other external stakeholders.

Within the framework of our internationalisation vision, we aim to increase the number of international students, expand student and staff mobility, strengthen cooperation with universities and research centres abroad, and promote joint academic and scientific initiatives.

Recognising that the ultimate purpose of education and research in the health sciences is to serve individuals and society, we strive to be a Faculty that is responsive to the needs of our region and our country, generates meaningful social contribution, and develops strong and sustainable cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.

We believe that these goals can be achieved through shared wisdom, consultation, academic freedom, merit, fairness, and a strong sense of institutional belonging. With a management approach that regards public duty not merely as a position, but above all as a trust and a responsibility, we will continue to work together to advance our Faculty in education, research, quality, internationalisation, and societal contribution.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all former administrators, academic staff, and administrative personnel who have contributed to the development of our Faculty, and I wish all our students a healthy, peaceful, and successful academic journey.
